December 1999 Mission Team To Alexandrov, Russia
This team rode in vans. The excitement of walking everywhere in the cold, snow and wind was over. Pastor Volodya even commented that our ministry was not as exciting as it used to be, because we rode in vans instead of walking everywhere.
This was also Y2K (the year 2000) when everything was supposed to break and even more so in Russia. Well what a big bunch of hoopla. Nothing happened, not even in Russia.

1999 Mission Trip Photographs
This was the first year that Andy went without Stephanie and it was his last. Stephanie is Andy's right arm and he is worthless without her.
Joy Downing, a business owner and friend from Northminster Church in Conyers,
Georgia went leaving her husband Burt in America. She will never do that again.
The two of them were miserable without the other. Joy worked in the VBS and
other ministries as well as singing.
Pastor David Ling joined us for the first time this year. He is the pastor at the church where Stephanie grew up in Hebron, North Dakota. David was not the pastor there when Stephanie attended. David helped out in VBS and did some wonderful preaching and counseling and singing.
Jo Ann Grossberndt helped entertain the kids during the Bible study and sang and prayed.
